Francis (Frank) Gehrling has been with Galli Engineering for six years. He is a senior member of the Environmental team. As a geologist with 28 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, he is knowledgeable and effective in assessing the needs of the client and balancing those needs within the current requirements of the many regulatory agencies that might be involved in any given project.
During his 30 year career, Frank has held staff and lead positions in both the public and private sector including Geomap Company, Maine Department of Transportation Field Quality Services, Maine Department of Environmental Protection Response Services, Engineering Technologies, and Fenley and Nicol Environmental.
Some of his areas of expertise are underground storage tank removals, and remediation, site remediation of industrial waste sites, and brownfield investigations. The projects he has worked on at Galli vary widely and include many types of work including Phase I and Phase II site investigations, brownfield investigations, management of remediation of OER brownfield and E-designated sites, preparation and implementation of Community Air Monitoring Plans and Health and Safety Plans and management of soil remediation projects.
Frank holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Adelphi University and has completed coursework for his master’s degree in geology at the University of Cincinnati.
